“I’m sure you do. It’s just hard for me to understand the kind of love that’d sell his former what…mistress? Girlfriend, the woman he cheated on his wife with… what kind of love would sell that person his wife’s house?” Theo asked.

Craig’s eyes widened. His mouth dropped as he turned and looked across the lobby as if Imani stood at the counter. “Shit.”

“Please don’t say you forgot?” Gavin said sounding surprised.

Craig inhaled, shoulders dropped as he looked away.

“Women never forget shit like that. They never forget,” Gavin said.
